TICKETING

I’VE BOUGHT A TICKET OFF MY FRIEND, WILL I NEED TO CHANGE THE NAME TO MATCH MY ID?
Yes, for Covid-19 tracing purposes we will require everyone's tickets to match up to their names. This is also to prevent any fraudulent activity from ticket scammers.

Name changes can be done via theTicket Fairy resale system. For any assistance with this please do not hesitate to contact support@theticketfairy.com
HOW DO I ENSURE THE TICKET I HAVE JUST PURCHASED OFF SOMEONE ELSE IS VALID?
You can only guarantee the authenticity of the ticket you are purchasing by using the official Ticket Fairy Resale System. That Weekend cannot guarantee you entry if you have purchased a ticket through any other platform and results in a breach of Ticket Fairy’s T&C’s.
CAN I USE THAT WEEKEND’S FACEBOOK PAGE TO TRY AND BUY OR SELL A TICKET?
Any posts on our Facebook about buying and selling tickets will be removed. Names and date of birth details on tickets cannot be changed anyway. Leave Facebook and other social media platforms out of the equation when buying or re-selling That Weekend tickets and go through the Official Ticket Fairy Resale Facility when it opens.
WHAT IS VALID ID?
A valid ID is a current photo driver’s license, proof of age card or a current, valid passport.
WHAT IF I LOSE MY ID BEFORE THE FESTIVAL?
Please have your ID replaced ASAP as you must have a valid ID to enter the festival. This isn’t just a ticketing requirement, it’s a legal requirement. Even with a valid ticket, you will not be admitted without an ID.
ARE DAY PASSES AND CAMPING TICKETS SEPARATE?
Yes, they are. You will need a Camping Ticket to enter the campgrounds at That Weekend. You will need a 2day festival pass to enter the festival.
I’VE BOUGHT A DAY PASS TICKET BUT I’M WANTING TO UPGRADE TO A CAMPING TICKET?
No issues at all, feel free to contact support@theticketfairy.com and we can sort that out for you! Be wary, this is subject to there being spaces available left at the campground - the best way to secure a spot is to purchase a camping ticket nice and early!

TRANSPORT and PARKING

HOW DO THE BUS TICKETS WORK AND WHERE CAN THEY PICK ME UP?
Bus tickets are pre-purchased as an add on and depart at 2:30pm both days of the festival from the following locations:

Matamata I-Site

Tauranga City Centre Bus Stop.

Buses will return to these locations at 11:00pm and 1:00am both nights of the festival. Bus passes cannot be purchased solely and must be purchased as an add-on to one of our “2 Day Festival Passes”.
WHAT IS A CAR PARKING PASS?
A Parking Pass allows you to bring your vehicle into the festival car park. These must be pre–purchased before arriving at the festival. Vehicles carrying 3 or more people will be eligible for a partial refund at the gate. The system is designed to minimise car numbers and maximise carpooling. We think it’s the most effective way to encourage sustainable choices for transport.
HOW DO I EARN A REFUND USING THE CARPOOLING SYSTEM?
Those who arrive in cars with more than 3 people will be eligible for a $20 refund. You will be given a token for bar & food credit on your wristband.
WHY DO I NEED TO BUY A CAR PARKING PASS?
We require everyone to pre–purchase a Parking Pass to prevent congestion and queues at the gate. Also in an attempt to be as sustainable as possible we are aiming to minimize our carbon footprint by encouraging people to travel together.

Sorry, no. For security reasons, only those with Camping tickets or Camping wristbands are allowed in the campground. Anyone found in the campgrounds without the correct wristband will have their event wristband confiscated and will be ejected from the festival.
CAN I GO AND SEE MY FRIENDS WHO HAVE A DIFFERENT CAMPING PASS TO ME?
Yes, as long as you have a camping pass you will be able to go and visit your friends in another campground. However, you can’t set up camp there. Security will be monitoring wristbands to ensure they are not setting up in areas they should not be.

No. Patrons are not permitted to have campfires or fires of any kind at That Weekend. If you light a fire you will be removed from the site and may be the subject of police action.

Toilets and hot showers will be located throughout the campgrounds. These will be operating from 7am - 11am and 3pm - 7pm

We have a range of diverse food vendors catering for all dietary needs throughout the festival. Our General Store is also available onsite for basic snacks and refreshments.
IS IT SAFE TO BRING VALUABLES WITH ME?
There will be security personnel near the camping areas as well as campsite assistants for each area. All queries and concerns should be directed to your assistants or marshals. Despite the best efforts of our staff and security personnel, we can’t guarantee nothing will go missing. Our advice – try not to bring valuables and if you really need to, lock them in your car.
CAN WE RESERVE A SPOT FOR OUR FRIEND’S NEXT TO US?
If you want to camp with your pals you must arrive at the same time, our advice is to get in early! You cannot save or ‘bags’ campsite space for friends arriving later. To camp together you must arrive together, so plan to arrive as a group. Friends that stick together, camp together!
ARE THERE POWERED SITES AND CAN I BRING MY OWN GENERATOR?
None of the That Weekend campsites are powered and generators are not permitted.

CASHLESS PAYMENT SYSTEM

WILL THAT WEEKEND USE A CASHLESS PAYMENT SYSTEM?
Yes, all transactions at That Weekend will be through Wayver including bars, market stalls, food vendors, merch and general store.
HOW WILL I USE THIS TO PAY FOR STUFF?
You may load up your Wayver wristband by using the onsite top-up station. We will be accepting both cash payments and payments made through an EFTPOS/debit card.
WHY IS THAT WEEKEND CASHLESS?
Cashless payments through Wayver make your festival experience smoother. It’s safer for patrons and easier for us to serve you quickly. It’ll speed up service at every bar and vendor, meaning you can spend more time enjoying the music instead of waiting to be served.
WHAT IF I HAVE MONEY LEFT OVER ON MY WRISTBAND?
Refunds can be made at the Wayver Top-Up Station on your way out of the festival or via Wayver’s website. You will need the ID number on the back of your wristband so make sure to look after it!
